Annual Survey Response, student: I liked having access to the website that allowed you to save colleges to your profile and research different stats about each college. This really helped me narrow down the colleges I wanted to take seriously. I also appreciated Mrs. Taylor’s open-mindedness towards all colleges, while also being honest about which colleges may be a stretch for me to get in to. This was important (but slightly tough) to hear early on, because it forced me to focus my attention to other colleges that I hadn’t thought of before that would not be a stretch.

Adam S., parent: The most important aspect of Zena’s help was her annual workshop that my son attended in the summer before the senior year. That workshop is worth tons of gold for any parent. If you ask any student, he or she will tell you that the no. 1 reason for putting off college applications are the essays! …and my kids were no different. My son completed most of the essays during that workshop, and that made the following fall a less stressful time allowing him to focus on more effective communications with the various schools he was applying to.
