Many students do not have access to quality college admissions counseling. In an effort to address this and give back to the community, I offer "Pay As You Can" services to selected students who will benefit from the guidance I offer. These opportunities are for domestic students in 11th and 12th grades who are on the free or reduced lunch program at their schools or whose families are experiencing extreme financial hardship.

To be considered for The Essentials College Package on a "Pay As You Can" basis, submit an application with the following information no later than July 1st before the student's senior year.

• A paragraph explaining reasons why the student would benefit from a College Select, LLC counseling scholarship
• Up-to-date unofficial transcript from the student's high school
• Standardized test scores from any tests taken already including PSAT, SAT, ACT and AP exams
• Resume or list of awards, activities, and part-time jobs
• A list of colleges the student has considered

Support of Non-Profits

Each year I donate a portion of profits to an exceptional non-profit which works with college-bound students or with college students. This year the non-profit of choice is Campus Vote Project.  This nonprofit works with universities, community colleges, faculty, students and election officials to reduce barriers to student voting. Their goal is to help campuses institutionalize reforms that empower students with the information they need to register and vote.
